Katia continues to head northeast and has now made it past Nantucket, Massachusetts. Since leaving Jupiter Island back in June, Katia has traveled more than 3,000 kilometers and is located approximately 1700 kilometers from Jupiter Island. She is currently located to the north of a warm water eddy that has spun off the Gulf Stream and will likely take one of two routes from here. One possible trip is to head south to the current which is a very good foraging area or head north towards Nova Scotia. Where do you think Katia will go? An updated map can be found here
